When patterns of clothes sewing Doll finishing make all the difference

I love sewing my own models of clothes Doll (and nothing at all, in fact) because when I finished making the outfit, I know that this is a "a three of a kind". Else no one will be exactly the same holding of the same material and with the same finishing touches and I know that my daughter feels quite special when she dresses the doll in clothes that no one else has!

But what I like the most on the manufacture of apparel doll experimented with different finishes as is these small things that make all the difference. It is amazing how just add that little something can transform a plain dress in something really special.

And have you noticed how using the same fabric but by adding a different color ribbon or lace, you can completely change the appearance of the outfit? Just the other day, I worked with a floral fabric which had pink, yellow and green as the dominant colour and I tried to decide what color to choose and use as topping contrasted size and hem. I couldn't make my mind so made to three dresses, each with different color trim, and wow, they looked like three completely different dresses!

Things to do to end up with a costume include adding a bow, a flake or a ground for the bodice, some Ribbon or of the lace to the line hem, a button of fantasy as a feature, some lace around the rim of a sleeve, ribbon around the bottom of the bodice, a contrasting trim around the size and/or hem and little sew to side seam tags. This is where the personality of the child your can really shine through.

When patterns of doll clothes sewing for your child, ask them what things they can and on the holding to finish it. Or if they are sewing the outfit themselves, make sure that you have a lot of little bits and very practical pieces and encourage them to experiment with them. Sometimes, what you think first will look grand perhaps not quite correct, and then what you least expect any good turns to be perfect!

It's funny how when that you realise just how different these finishing touches make a costume, you suddenly find save button, the reasons and the lace of old clothes before throwing them away. Taking little bits and pieces from the shop (charity shop) savings and buy boats more Ribbon when it is on special.

So go, draw upon your creativity and experiment with all kinds of different finishing of the next time it sews a costume for your doll. It's really amazing that you can create with some bits and pieces and a little imagination.
